It's Monday, it's boot-spotting. Get stuck in as we bring you our selection of the best boots on show from planet football.

We've recapped who was wearing what in a week where the domestic season came to a dramatic finale. Berlin played host to the 2015 Champions League Final as adidas and Nike went head-to-head showcasing their latest footwear innovations for the first time. All your boot spotting action from the big one this way...

Luis Suarez (Barcelona) adidas X15.1

The adidas players read the Champions League script as X and ACE made their on pitch debut; Ivan Rakitic, Alvaro Morata and Luis Suarez all scored in their new wheels as Barca lifted the trophy. The X especially, held the strongest on-pitch presence with the bold, volt colourway and graphic design. Suarez's goal was the icing on the cake for the brand as they celebrated their launch with huge success.

Just as it looked like Nike were heading towards a scoreless Champions League Final up popped poster boy Neymar with a last second goal to seal the victory. Laced up in the second-generation Hypervenom Neymar added to his Copa del Rey Final strike by slotting past Buffon on the stroke of full time to spark ecstatic scenes in the Barca end of the Olympiastadion.

The Women's World Cup got underway at the weekend with its own set of new boot collections. In amongst a number of Nike athletes sporting the tournament pack was the Netherlands' Lieke Martens, who scored a spectacular winner against New Zealand wearing the Mercurial Superfly IV, a boot that forms a collection inspired by the famous lakes of the host country, Canada.

Kyaw Min Oo (Myanmar) adidas F50/Nike Mercurial Vapor X Kyaw Min Oo (Myanmar) adidas F50/Nike Mercurial Vapor X

Kyaw Min Oo (Myanmar) adidas F50/Nike Mercurial Vapor X

The U20 World Cup is currently going on in New Zealand and Myanmar player Kyaw Min Oo is that one guy who always does it, that one player who wears odd boots. Not content with mixing just colourways Oo has split his brand loyalties with one F50 and one Vapor. Why? We don't know, all we do know is that his name sounds a bit like a Pro Evo 5 version of Kylie Minogue, pretty sure we signed him for Man Red once.

Under Armour have whipped up a Women's World Cup specific colourway for Canada's Kaylyn Kyle to rep in her home country this month. Kyle's ClutchFit boots take on a design that replicates the colours of her Umbro home strip and Canada kicked off their campaign in perfect style with a 1-0 win over China.

Sara Daebritz (Germany) Nike Mercurial Vapor X Sara Daebritz (Germany) Nike Mercurial Vapor X

The Mercurial Vapor X edition of the Nike 2015 Women's World Cup pack is arguably one of the best looking combinations to drop on the silo. The striking 'Blue Lagoon' matched with the trademark volt creates a slick design that is handing Nike a huge presence at the summer tournament. Sara Daebritz got on the scoresheet wearing them in Germany's first game, although so did pretty much everyone else as they hammered Ivory Coast 10-0.

Philippe Coutinho (Brazil) Nike Mercurial Vapor X Philippe Coutinho (Brazil) Nike Mercurial Vapor X

Another player to hit the back of the net wearing the Vapor X this week was Philippe Coutinho. The Liverpool forward had a point to prove after missing out on the 2014 World Cup and opened the scoring in Brazil's 2-0 win over Mexico wearing the new "Silver Storm" edition of the Mercurial.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona) adidas Messi15 Lionel Messi (Barcelona) adidas Messi15

The only thing missing for adidas in the Champions League Final was a Messi goal, which is normally a given. Laced up in his new 'MESSI15' signature boot Barca's number 10 was still a key part of his side's success albeit in a way less influential to his normal magic. The boots themselves were worn for the first time by the man himself, released as the final piece in the adidas revolution jig-saw puzzle.

Betsy Hasset (New Zealand) Nike Tiempo Legend V Betsy Hasset (New Zealand) Nike Tiempo Legend V

In a similar colourway to the Nike Tiempo XX Pack, New Zealand's Betsy Hasset was laced up in the Black/White/Pink Tiempo Legend V in her country's opening game against the Netherlands. The splash of pink on the soleplate adds a mix in contrasts to a boot that otherwise compliments the New Zealand strip worn in the 1-0 defeat.

Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) adidas ACE15.1 Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) adidas ACE15.1

Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) adidas ACE15.1

Ivan Rakitic was the unlikely first goalscorer after just 4 minutes in the Champions League Final, the perfect start for adidas as they unleashed their redesigned football footwear collection. With Messi in his signature silo and Suarez in the X15.1 it was the ACE 'Control' boot that drew first blood as the Croatian arrived at the right time in the box to fire past Buffon in the Juventus goal.

England and Republic of Ireland played out a snoozefest of a 0-0 draw in Dublin on Sunday afternoon. One of the most exciting parts of the game, which wasn't actually very exciting at all was Irish keeper Kieren Westwood's custom white and black adidas Predator Instinct boots. Tidy.

Abdelkarim Hassan (Qatar) Nike Magista Obra Abdelkarim Hassan (Qatar) Nike Magista Obra

Qatar International Abdelkarim Hassan took on one of the hottest NikeiD jobs of the week with his custom Red/Volt/Black Nike Magista Obra boots. Qatar were in action twice this week, drawing 1-1 with Northern Ireland and recording a slender 1-0 defeat to Scotland at the weekend.

Jonelle Filigno (Canada) adidas X15.1 Jonelle Filigno (Canada) adidas X15.1

adidas launched their own Women's World Cup specific colourway this week. The ACE15 and X15 both dropped with colourways exclusive to the women's game and the X is a belter. Canadian forward Jonelle Filigno slipped into the design to open up the tournament complete with the host nation's flag personalised on the lateral side of the boot.

Arturo Vidal (Juventus) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Arturo Vidal (Juventus) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

Arturo Vidal switched into the "Silver Storm" Mercurial Superfly IV with unique personalisation for the Champions League Final. The text, scribbled by Vidal's son Alonso reads "Good luck dad", a more touching way of personalising a boot than just printing names, although it didn't bring the luck intended with Vidal running round ploughing into everyone he saw.
