So what makes the Under Armour Blur Pro unique? Under Armours new speed boot uses a seamless micro-fibre upper designed to conform to the shape of the foot. With a smooth finish, the Blur Pro has been designed to provide improved ball control.
One of the stand-out design features of the new Under Armour Blur Pro soccer shoes is the unique perforation of the upper. The aesthetically unique and patterned upper has been design to aid breath-ability and moisture control.
Where the new Under Armour Blur Pro really comes into their own is in the outsole design. The lightweight and innovative outsole is one of the huge design plus-points for the Blur Pro cleats.
The Pebax outsole is where this boot steps up it's game and becomes a performance boot. A visibly wider fore-foot enhances underfoot stability and provides support for quick directional changes.
With the Blur Pro's focus strongly on stability, comfort and shock absorption, the Under Armour Micro G cushioning and 4D foam is used as an anti-bacterial foot-bed that forms to the foot to provide optimal comfort.
What Under Armour have set out to achieve with the Blur Pro, is a performance speed boot that doesn't just follow conventional methods. Yes this is certainly a lightweight boot weighing in around 200 grams, but is also acknowledges that speed isn't just about straight ahead, it's also about cutting, crossing, changing direction and speed of feet.
The new Metallic Silver/Velocity/Black Under Armour Blur Pro football boots are expected to retail worldwide for around £100 GBP/ $180 USD / €120 EURO, and are set for an official release late June/early July.
